COUNSELLING SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. It is agreed that the content of our work together will be conducted in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psycotherapy.
  2. In accepting any form of counselling you have familiarised yourself with the information provided on how does it work and what does it cost.
  3. You are 18 years of age or older.
  4. You agree to supply only true information, and you agree in particular to supply your true name and contact details. You agree not to deliberately omit significant information.
  5. You agree that during our initial communications, we will both need to evaluate whether we believe we can work together effectively, and that either party may discontinue our counselling relationship at any time.
  6. You agree that you are seeking services specifically for personal counselling or therapy, or clinical supervision, and not in connection with any research project either for publication or for private use.
  7. You agree that the counselling or therapy services will be provided by Counselling Solutions, that the provision of these services will be understood to take place in England, and that the provision of these services and all our work together will be governed under the laws of England and Wales.
  8. You agree that neither Jenny Charles or Counselling Solutions provides a 24-hour emergency service. You agree to identify appropriate services in your local area which will be able to provide emergency assistance, should it be required.
  9. Cancellation or postponement of any service will require 24 hours notice, if less than 24 hours notice is given the full charge for the session will become due.
  10. You agree that Jenny Charles, not being a physician, will not provide medical advice, and that no counselling or therapy services provided via this site will be construed as the practice of medicine or telemedicine.
PURCHASING EMAIL OR ONLINE COUNSELLING
  1. By submitting your order, you are allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying the email or online service including passing your details on to a qualified and accredited Counsellor for response.
  2. Delivery; we aim to provide the email or online service to you within 2 working days but we cannot give an exact delivery date. If we have not provided the email consultancy service within 7 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract and we will refund any money paid by you.
  3. Although we have taken steps to ensure that any emails or attachments sent to you in connection with our services are virus-free, we advise that in keeping with good computing practice, you ensure that they are actually virus-free.
  4. You agree that neither Jenny Charles or Counselling Solutions will be held responsible for direct or consequential loss due to internet service failures or computer malfunction.
  5. Any information provided to you contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. It is protected by intellectual property laws including, without limitation, copyright. You may view, use, download and store the information for your personal use. Commercial use of the information provided by us is not permitted. The re-distribution, republication, or otherwise making available of the information provided by us to third parties without our prior written consent is prohibited.
  6. Unauthorised use of the information provided by us may give rise to a claim against you for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
PURCHASING TELEPHONE COUNSELLING SERVICES
  1. By submitting your order, you are allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying the telephone counselling service including passing your details on to a qualified and accredited counsellor to call you at your requested time.
  2. Delivery; we aim to telephone you, for your 50 minute counselling session, as close to the time you have requested, as is possible.
  3. Please provide at least 48 hours notice in your order and we will send you an email to confirm the appointment.
  4. If we have not provided the telephone counselling service within 7 days of expected delivery then you may cancel the contract and we will refund any money paid by you.
